General Information - (S-76D S/N 761037 AND SUBSEQUENT)

Helifab’s auxiliary fuel tank installs in the baggage compartment and provides 62 gallons of additional usable fuel. With the auxiliary tank installed, approximately 13 cu ft of baggage compartment volume remains available for use even when the tank is installed in combination with an Air Comm (formerly Keith) air conditioner system. If additional storage volume is required, Helifab’s STC’d cabin area storage net (available for purchase separately) can provide additional storage volume within the rotorcraft cabin. The aux tank installation utilizes a single point wiring disconnect and self-sealing, quick disconnect hose fittings that allows the tank to be removed or reinstalled in less than 30 minutes. This feature provides operators a short turn time when mission configuration changes dictate removal of the auxiliary fuel tank.
